Florida needs to know, did you get counted?

Every person counted by the census means as much as $1,500 per year in federal funding for Florida.  And for every person counted, Florida's representation in Congress has the opportunity to increase.

With your help, www.myfloridacensus.gov can help Florida identify homes, neighborhoods and communities that may go uncounted in the 2010 census.

WHAT HAPPENS
IF I WAS
COUNTED?

That's great news! Let us know (see the form above) and Florida's Sunshine Census Campaign and Complete Count Partners around the state can use our online application to see that your neighborhood is being counted.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I WAS MISSED ?
We don't want that!  Let us know (see the form above) and the Florida House of Representatives will alert the U.S. Census Bureau and Florida's Sunshine Census Campaign that you (and possibly your neighbors) have been missed so we can get everyone counted!

HOW DOES THIS HELP MY COMMUNITY?
The census helps your community express its needs and shape the future of child care, senior care, schools, and more.  The census helps ensure your community gets its fair share of federal funding for job training.  The census helps hospitals and emergency services effectively allocate their resources to help those in need.

An accurate census will help determine where to invest to best serve our local communities!
